S.Setsaas Wins 2019 Norwegian SimRacing GP!
After seven tough rounds of racing around the world’s most famous venues in the Porsche Cup car, the 2019 Norwegian SimRacing Grand Prix came to an end – CoRe SimRacing driver Sindre Setsaas finished the season as the winner and takes home the championship, now as a two-time Norwegian SimRacing champion. His team mate Kristian Skumlien finished the series in a solid 6th position overall.
The series was visiting the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the season opener where Sindre was able to take his first victory. At the following venues which were VIR and Sebring, Kristian was also able to grab valuable points for the rankings. The Grand Prix brought several and intense podium fights between Positive SimRacing’s Glenn Key, ineX-Racing’s Jarl Teien and Sindre. In the meanwhile, Kristian was holding on to decent Top-5 positions after races at Monza, Brands Hatch and the Silverstone final. With five wins in the bag and 865 points overall, Sindre took the championship home for the second time, this time by under CoRe SimRacing colours. Well done and congratulations!
