Our top blenders of 2017 can be a bit pricey for some. That’s why we put together a list of the best blenders under $100. In order to compile this list we looked at sources such as Consumer Reports, top ten reviews, general consumer sentiment on the web, and Amazon users reviews. That said our experience with blenders – which at this point includes 100s of hours making smoothies, flour and everything in between – gives us a keen sense and understanding of what to look for in a good blender. Now, it’s important to keep in mind that these blenders are less than $100, so they won’t stand up to the performance and quality as found on our best blender list of 2019. But at the very least they they all serve as a great starter blender, allowing you to eventually graduate (and justify) more powerful (and expensive) blenders.

We have a few friends that have used this blender, making smoothies and even rice flour. Rice flour, if you didn’t know, is no easy feat, so there is something to be said there alone. What we really like about this model is it’s small footprint and innovative design that allows you to use the blender jar as a drinkable cup. TopTenReviews for the most part liked this blender, rating it a 7.25/10. The biggest con they found was that not all fruit pulp was blended, which we found surprising since we know it’s capable of grinding rice to flour. Amazon customers on the other hand have reviewed this blender over 7,500 times giving it 4.1 out of 5 stars.

2. Ninja Professional Blender (BL610)
With three blades, the BL610 can tear through just about anything.

With over 1,400 reviews and a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, you just can’t go wrong with this model. It’s footprint is a bit larger than the Nutribullet, but it costs the same at $79.99. What we like is that it offers 1000 watts of power and at a reasonably low price point.
The entire blender, including the jar (which is BPA free) is made of plastic. However, don’t be fooled. Reviews state that it hardly feels cheap and the super sharp blades, there are 3 of them lining the jar, are able to annihilate even the most fibrous of materials. What we really like, aside from the triple blade action, is that the lid locks and flips open for easy pouring. While these might seem like moot features they’re not. And you’ll know this if you’ve ever had a blender lid fly off mid blend.

3. BLACK+DECKER BL1820SG-P FusionBlade Digital Blender
The Black and Decker is the budget budget choice.

Last on our list is the BLACK+DECKER BL1820SG-P FusionBlade Digital Blender. First things first: this blender costs just $54 with Amazon Prime. Also, it’s Consumer Reports’ second highest rated blender under $100. The next one up from it is the Ninja Professional NJ600, and that costs almost twice as much. So suffice to say, this could be considered a steal.
Some of the things we like about this blender – aside from the price – is the all glass jar and included 20oz personal jar which allows you to blend and go without any pouring. It also boasts 700 watts of power and a set of digital controls. Sure, digital controls aren’t a necessity, but they’re effectively a set of buttons that will in fact make wiping it down and cleaning it easier. Lastly, it boasts a stainless steel finish. Who doesn’t like stainless steel?
